Since you're the first player, you need to create the initial game save file! Old World requires the "Play Your Damn Turn Support" mod to be active in the game. This mod enhances the Old World hotseat code to force a save and exit at the end of your turn, otherwise there's no place to save before the next player's screen appears. From the main menu, go to Mods, then Install, and search for "Play Your Damn Turn Support". Download the mod, and make sure when you're creating the hotseat game that "Use Mods" is enabled at the bottom, and "Play Your Damn Turn Support" is enabled.

Now start Old World, go to Multiplayer / Hotseat, and configure the game. Set the following settings:

• Map Type: Multiple Continents
• Map Size: Medium

When you're ready, click "Confirm Settings", make sure that you have EXACTLY 5 slots active, and add the following human players, starting at the first slot:

Carthage

Unknown Civ

Babylonia

Persia

Assyria

If you don't set up the game exactly as expected, you won't be able to upload it to PYDT!

Once you've created the game and played your first turn, save it and use the button below to upload it and begin the game! By default, the save file will be located at Documents\My Games\OldWorld\Saves\Multiplayer\ on Windows, and ~/Library/Application Support/OldWorld/Saves/Multiplayer/ on OSX. Have fun playing your damn turns!
